Offshore wind will play an important role in the Commonwealth’s energy future, and Massachusetts has set an ambitious agenda to be a national leader for the emerging offshore wind industry along the East Coast. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) is leading an array of programs and initiatives to accelerate the responsible development of offshore wind in the state. Bruce Carlisle, MassCEC’s Managing Director Offshore Wind, will talk about the current status of offshore wind, its opportunities, and challenges for the North Shore, state, and region.
